¡Patria celeste, aliento duradero!
¿Volverán los astros y su lamento,
A recordar la celestial corte?
(Solo: Fernández)
Violento viento hunde
Nuestra tierra en ancho mar
Mas la luz que siempre alumbra
Al navegante furor infunde.
De amada tierra se marchan
Por vinoso y ancho mar
Mas el fuego que no se consume
Ni el ancho mar apagará.

IV. Coeur-de-lion
With each star that vanishes
From the great concert's vault,
We bury the uncertain breath
Of the disappearing voice.
In the open welkin man may read,
The dire fate that he deserves:
In constellated letters in his soul,
The night sets on the dead god's song
Gil-Stel! Who has destroyed the path
That shone above, beyond the wears
of time? Where is the northern light?
O Heavenly country, enduring breath!
Will the astral lament return,
To recall the celestial court?
(Solo: Fernández)
A violent wind is sinking
Our land into the wide sea,
But the beacon light forever
Lends the wanderer her strength.
They leave beloved lands
Through the wide and wine-dark sea,
But the ancient blaze eternal
The ocean cannot quench.

Outstanding death metal with blackened touches. For those who dig Beherit, Cryptopsy or Demoncy, check out this LP. Much of this LP owes its brilliance to those who went before; that is, this artist does not deny metal traditions. But there is no pre-fabricated art here, as there is a strong, unique vision in all of the songwriting. The riffs all make sense in their given context; there's nothing that seems superfluous. Very highly recommended listening. Look forward to more from Blood Urn! Wow! xhrl_
Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
This is the most personally appealing piece of music I have run into in a long time - from the beautiful lyrics and art and the crushing, non pretentious gorgeous heavy music. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, crushing - are there are other words? Gorgeous, exquisite.... sock4never
Everyone knows there's a lot of high-quality metal from Finland, and this album is no exception. Its old-school vibe paired with catchy grooves make it very listenable on any occasion, and the awesome songwriting with lots of interesting details keep it far away from ever becoming boring.
